Training

As service providers for ONF, Moniteur des TP, BE Encem, and Socotec Formation, the employees of Microhumus offer training courses in the fields of soils, soil storage, biodiversity, trees and forests, pedological engineering, and the management of contaminated sites and soils through phytomanagement.
Soils are the foundation of life on Earth. They are also at the heart of our professional and personal activities, which can sometimes lead to their degradation.
Understanding what soils are is complex due to the many fields they encompass. However, having a good knowledge of soils and what they represent is a key element for the success of land development and restoration projects on contaminated sites and soils.
In this context, Microhumus offers training courses tailored to the needs and challenges of each participant. We offer them on the following topics:
- Soil: characterization and challenges,
- Topsoil and growing media,
- Pedological engineering for the restoration of degraded sites,
- Phytomanagement for the management of degraded and polluted sites and soils,
- Forest ecosystems: knowledge, contemporary challenges, and regulatory aspects,
- Vegetation engineering: understanding the restoration logic of quarry sites.
Additionally, we facilitate “The Soil Fresco.” This role-playing game, initiated by ADEME and developed by soil science experts brought together by AFES, reflects the diversity of stakeholders interacting with soils and opens up a cross-disciplinary reflection: what levers can we use to better understand and protect soils? This collaborative game calls upon your creativity.
